D05 Excerpts of letters from a police secretary in Mogilev to his wife
The letters were written by the police secretary Walter Mattner, an administrative officer for the SS and Police Garrison Commander at Mogilev, to his wife during 22 September 1941 – 19 April 1942. In his letters Mattner reflect, inter alia, participation in mass killings and express empathy with the German soldiers
